Hello, I'm Andy.
Data Analyst, AI Strategist, and Python Developer.
I turn raw data into clarity, insight, and action.
About Me
I’m currently a Data Analyst in the Research Department at UT Tyler’s School of Nursing, where I support research, quality improvement, and evidence-based initiatives that serve East Texas and the surrounding region.
My M.S. in Artificial Intelligence and Business Analytics from the University of South Florida built on my B.S. in Entrepreneurship and prepared me to make a meaningful impact in this role—helping turn complex data into practical insights that improve programs, inform decisions, and ultimately support better community outcomes.
My journey hasn’t been a straight line. As a former Army combat medic, I learned how to stay calm under pressure and focus on what truly matters. My time in Afghanistan taught me resilience, and recovering from a life-changing combat injury gave me a clearer sense of purpose. These lessons help me everyday in my duties as a husband to my wife, Elisabeth, father to baby Hollyn, and team member.
Today, I’m motivated by meaningful work—using data, design, and thoughtful decision-making to tackle real-world problems and help people and organizations do better.
